HISTORY ABOUT DERECATI(HANDIRI)
We have some arkeological and ethnographic discovers.
They point Handiri is using for settle down area before the conquest of anatolia.
After 1082 cankiri's conquest, Handiri created as a point village by Emir Karatekin.
In that time 4 villages were created to guard Cankiri from enemy attacks. Handiri was the
most important one.

the first name of Hadiri called 'Handeri' it is complicated in numbered 582 and 'anadolu evvel'
named notebooks 215. page and 149 sequence recorded Seyh Mehdi Bin Hamid Bin saban's
670 dated (1271) arabic translation.

Handiri describes in this record book like this:
'Third village named Haderi,that's first boundary is in Uluyol, second boundary is from
Yağlılas to Ilısılek's border. Third boundary in from Uruvaygezi to lake of müş.
Fourth boundary is in Yaylak Mirlevad knowledge district. That manner this village has been
foundation...

Handeri has been a foundation. We can understand this from these lines...

Colloquial language from Cankiri to Handeri 13 mills settled down but only 6 mills are

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF OUR VİLLAGE

23 KMS between Cankiri and Handiri and located in north western of Cankiri
Handiri has thickly wooded lands. has a lot of picnic spaces. We make festivals
every summertime to fuse all villagers...

Main harmony is farming and cattle dealingold times main harmony was to be forester.
But this was ended for protect forestsin the first years of republic there were .......

That days 65 houses in Handiri and population is 200.
In the past most educated person was from Handiri.There has been a lot of person
in government services and Islamic education...

From economic condition a lot of person went to Ankara Çankiri and Istnbul

Our villagers created associations in Çankiri and Ankara. These helps to make proggres
